The Ayurvedic face tool that belongs on every new mum's dresser.
The Kansa Face Wand is the ritual within the ritual. A small, grounding tool rooted in thousands of years of Ayurvedic tradition — and the one thing our Bath Ritual customers say they reach for every single morning.
Kansa metal — an ancient Indian alloy of copper and tin — has long been used in Ayurvedic practice for its gentle, balancing properties on the skin and tissues beneath. Slow circles across the face and jaw don't just feel good. They become a moment. A point of stillness in a season that rarely offers them.
What makes Kansa different?
Unlike jade or rose quartz rollers, Kansa is traditionally warmed against the skin — creating a friction-based, deeply grounding sensation rather than a cool, surface-level one. In Ayurvedic tradition, warmth is protective. Especially in the postpartum season.
How to use it
Warm a few drops of Mum Oil in your palms. Press the wand dome gently against the face and use small, slow circular movements across the jaw, cheekbones, forehead, and temples. 2–5 minutes. Eyes closed if you can.
It's not a routine. It's a pause.
